POSSIBLE TRAIL PROJECT IN COLORADO FOR 2006

Recently, while having an informal discussion with some trail enthusiasts here in Colorado Springs, I was asked if the NSA trail maintenance volunteers would be interested in building a bridge similar to this one next summer. Apparently there is trail somewhere in central Colorado that requires decending into a steep canyon and then a long climb back up to get to the other side. Obviously a challenging project but a reasonable request for the NSA trail crew. The good news is that there are plenty of rocks in the area. We can discuss this possible project further at our “beer call” on 5 December at the Rockyard Brewery in Castle Rock (see previous posting). Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!
